12/26/2023 0 Comments Pokemon v checker![]() Our Pokémon Go guide will help you figure out IVs so you can maximize the strength of your beloved Pokémon (and perhaps not waste candy evolving a suboptimal critter). Unfortunately the game doesn’t tell you directly what base stats each Pokémon has, but there are ways around that. There are just three stats to worry about: Attack, Defense, and Stamina, each of which maxes out at 15. ![]() For example, a perfect IV Chansey will have a higher CP and Stamina at its maxed out level, as opposed to a Chansey with only so-so IVs. IVs determine how strong a Pokémon can potentially get. Once unlocked, use the Judge Function by accessing one of your Boxes, highlighting a Pokemon, and double-pressing the + Button.In Pokémon Go, beyond your Pokémon’s CP (Combat Power), all your caught partners have semi-hidden base stats called individual values, or IVs. The Judge Function, which allows you to check IVs in-game, can only be unlocked when you've finished all three stories and the final story, The Way Home, and the credits roll. How to Unlock and Use the IV Checker In-Game Beat the Game to Unlock Refer to the tool right after you have caught a Pokemon to check if its IVs are good, and if it is worth using in your party. We are hoping to implement this feature in the future, but currently, this tool can only be used for Pokemon which have just been obtained and not yet used in battle. Our IV Checker currently does not handle Pokemon which have already gained EVs. Note that in some cases, multiple IV values may be possible, especially at low levels. Your Pokemon has the IV value for a stat when the stat value in the table for that IV matches your Pokemon's real stat. Compare the stats shown in the table to the stats of your Pokemon.Click the Pokemon of your choice from the dropdown.
